At
Seabridge our goal is to assist you in Making
The Decision and determining if
a Seabridge walk-in bath or slide-in bath is right for
you.
Many of Seabridge Bathing residential clients are people
that wish to remain in their homes, remain independent
and enjoy
the pleasure that bathing can bring to them.
Stepping into a conventional style tub and then lowering their body into the bath is virtually impossible for some. Others finding it possible but with the fear of falling the thought of attempting such a difficult task can be overwhelming.
This is especially
true if they have fallen previously. Adjusting water temperature
or simply reaching the controls can also be very difficult
tasks. Often times a person may find themselves able to
get into the bathtub only to find it impossible to
get back up
after bathing. This problem is compounded by the bather
challenging their abilities, which often leaves the
bather fatigued from
the process. All of these difficulties are also true of
those that are in a wheelchair, where to date most
have only had the
ability to shower.
Seabridge walk-in baths, slide-in baths and walk-in baths
with power seats have been designed to eliminate these
issues associated
with conventional style bathing and will assist with
these difficult tasks and eliminate the bathing fear
that many
have.
Our residential clients may be elderly individuals, in a wheelchair, young or middle aged, suffer from a medical condition or have difficulty bathing because of a large body type.
Please visit the many Resources available to our residential clients to learn about medical conditions that are
alleviated by
bathing, resources that are available to you as well as funding possibilities.
